It's not for the faint-hearted :) I posted this in response to a request. I feel a little awkward in doing so, not because I'm worried about reaction to my work, but because - well, this is my first…Continue

I had to go crazy before I could call myself a writer.

I've been asked by a couple of people to talk about what I write, and, although I'm unsure if this is the right place to do so, I thought I'd give it a brief shot.…Continue

Hi hate to sound snarky, but you really need to use a spell-checker before you put things out in public, especially on a website devoted to writing. Perhaps you're just rushed, and making mistakes, although I scarcely think that could excuse…

Anna, thanks so much for taking a look. Yes, you're completely right about the problem on the blog, and that's my next job. A lot of people have complained! It's on blogger, not my website, and I'm trying to find the right…

Oh, and by the way, I design and build my websites myself - I'd be willing to help people out if they want to try it themselves. If you have little html/css experience, though, I'd strongly recommend you either hire a web-designer, or…

I like how you write, Keith. I'm a visual person more than auditory and if I can't picture the action, I can't get the same enjoyment out of reading. Thanks for sharing that!

Inspiring. It gives excessive detail and interesting graphics. I always thought it better to base characters or events of your story on things that happened in real life. It's an extremely interesting book, that I can't wait to read the…

Thanks to both of you for the vote of confidence! I've had so little feedback as yet, so I'm so glad you liked it! Many thanks, Keith

Hey Keith, if it's true, it ain't bragging. :) Trumpet away! There's no reason not to be proud as punch. You'll need to get used to that. :) I agree with Callie! That was a great read. :)

The Endless Night – LAPD Lockup, August 18th 2006

I was going to write a little bit about the background to my night in jail: to place it in context. But upon reviewing this chapter - probably the most important, and certainly the rawest chapter in my book Broken Whole: a California tale of Craziness, Creativity and Chaos, I realized that it more or less speaks for itself. And believe me, the night in jail was just the prelude to the longest four days of my life. Keith…See More

Callie, wow, that's a tough one. It was the culmination of the longest life of my night, and the whole story occupies over a third of the boo. The night, and the few days following, were so experientially dense, with my mind racing a million…

Keith, in answer to your question - you can post about what you like wherever you want. There's the blog and the forum plus Groups covering various writing related subjects as well. Just wherever you're comfortable and think it's best suited! I think most people head towards the forum initially and then discover the blogs and groups. There's also a chat room too. :)
