Websites

I decided to create a website to help market my stories for when they are in print. It was FREE to create the site with a company called Webnode. The only cost I incurred was the price of the domain name for 12 months it was £11.99 (approx $18). Yes there are companies out there that provide the domains a little cheaper, but I…See More

A great tool for all writers

Posted on March 22, 2012 at 9:53pm 0 Comments

I'm a traditional writer armed with a pad and good pen, but often I use my laptop to write stories in manuscript form. As a reader I prefer 'real' books rather than e-readers, but I understand the convenience of the latter. The tool I have started to use recently is a digital voice recorder, for the ideas that pop in the mind when a pad and pen are not in easy reach, ie when driving.

The one I bought was £27 a little more expensive than stationary but very convenient especially as I…

Being an author has its good and bad points. As a creator, when the words flow its an amazing feeling that you have invented new prose to entertain and help escapism to people who do not work at their dream job.

The down side to being creative is that you're constantly nagged by ideas, stories and characters.
