I decided to create a website to help market my stories for when they are in print. It was FREE to create the site with a company called Webnode. They have lots of templates and styles and you can adapt and tweak the site to your own preference.

I'm a traditional writer armed with a pad and good pen, but often I use my laptop to write stories in manuscript form. As a reader I prefer 'real' books rather than e-readers, but I understand the convenience of the latter. The tool I have started to use recently is a digital voice recorder, for the ideas that pop in the mind when a pad and pen are not in easy reach, ie when driving.

Being an author has its good and bad points. As a creator, when the words flow its an amazing feeling that you have invented new prose to entertain and help escapism to people who do not work at their dream job.
The down side to being creative is that you're constantly nagged by ideas, stories and characters.
