                                                    The Snoutsfield Project: A Synopsis

There are two intertwined stories in this book. The first centres on the village of Snoutsfield in Sussex.  The village was established at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Sir William Preston, a landowner and entrepreneur who had been exiled by his family and friends in Cornwall because of his sexual activities with the young girls in the village where he lived. Charlie Bristle 3

Posted on December 3, 2014 at 9:43pm 0 Comments

It is now December 2014 and Christmas is fast approaching and with it some good British winter weather: a crisp cold feel to the air and sunshine! The 3rd in the Charlie Bristle trilogy has been available for just over a year. As before it is published by the lovely folk at Mirador publishing and is called, 'Put Your Pens Down'. In the next week or so Mirador are also publishing my latest work, 'The Snoutsfield Project' which have various elements including a murder mystery, a romantic story…

It is no easier to promote sales of e-books than it was 4 years ago.  Personally I still like to browse bookshops, charity shops, flea markets and libraries for books I want to read and only go to e-books when I know what I want. I heard someone recently saying that the internet is a good place to get books you know you want but bookshops etc are the best places to get books you didn't know you wanted. I am now working on something completely different but I am toying with the idea of a Charlie Bristle prequel, a popular trend these days. Charlie has now sadly lost his wife, as he always knew he would but then met again his first love from his college days, Carol who was by now the head of a primary school in East Sussex. He is…

Roger, top of the world to you,  and welcome to  …from The Chuck!
I write sci-fi novels filled with adventure, mystery, romance, drama, horror, and plenty of comedy… Sci-fi for every adult human to enjoy. I'm also a well-known published poet. When you have a few free moments, please check out my Authors page and a few of my videos and blogs I have recently added. Many of my blogs consist of free to read enjoyable sci-fi stories I plan to unite within a book titled: 'Epic Marvels. One of my newest sci-fi novels is titled: 'They!', which is somewhat related to the 1954 sci-fi classic movie, 'Them!' I'm currently working on a sci-fi mystery titled: 'The Mysteries of Muller Park'.

Let me know if you'd like to become friends.
