I recommend "Story Engineering" by Larry Brooks. I am learning a lot from his chapter, "The Second Core Competency - Character" and have come up with fifty questions from that section that is helping me to develop and make Prince Jasper more dynamic. This book is very astute and gives an in depth approach the main fictional elements of a story. It is worth the time to read. Like all other aspiring writers, I need help to improve my skills. I value other writer's opinions and would benefit greatly from those who have a lot more experience than I do. Since no one can write in a vacuum, I have joined this community to find such help. Other writers can help me improve in ways that I can't myself. Thanks.
