Kathy Goodhew is a new author with first published non-fiction book, A Vision Beyond Abuse. It was released February of 2011. It is a true account of her journey beyond an abusive relationship with God's help.

A Vision Beyond Abuse, - won the 2011 Distinguished Women Who Win Book Award in the self-help category.

Her second published book is book 1 of contemporary-fantasy series, The Hidden Ones "Awakened"  The story is about an extraordinary mythical secret that is waiting for a young woman to discover while she is attempting to make sense of her mother's death. It is filled with adventure, love, and loss, and is influenced by my Christian faith.

Her most recent work is book 2, The Hidden Ones 'Confluence'  It is the conclusion of the saga between the fairies and Mena’s world. Due to unforeseen events, the two species struggle with doubts as they seek answers about an alien threat affecting Washington State. They face severe odds even as Mena’s path becomes perilous. Will Mena find her strength as she meets a Confluence of paths where all roads seem shaky?

Kathy lives in a small town in Northwest Washington State with her husband of eighteen years along with their camping gear and small RV for camping adventures and traveling near and far.

Hey Kathy,

Glad to see you here too.  Forever Blessed is coming along.  I need to kick it in gear and get busy.  I am hoping to have it done in the next couple of months.  I see by your facebook posts that your wip is almost done and going well.  Congrats!

Hello Kathy,

Thank you for the friend invite.  It is very encouraging to meet so many new people who understand the journey that we share.  I am spending a lot of time meeting new people, checking out their books and websites.  I noticed that you won an award for you book.  I see a lot of that as I read about other authors.  Is there a place where I can submit "Good Mourning Sunshine" to be considered or does this just happen spontaneously?  Any help I can get is truly appreciated. It is places like this where I feel validated by other authors.  I never realized how much goes into marketing.  I just love to write.  So here I am a newly published indie and from out of the blue I am forces to discover a whole new world.  Thank you for reaching out.

Thanks for the info.

No I have not tried a youtube video yet.  I do have the equipment to create one, but I have been so busy, I have not taken the time to get it out of storage.  It has been there for 2 years.  I had a local cable show a few years ago.  I loved it and it was doing well, but the man who helped me to air it died.  Maybe another day I can pick that up again.  For now I will continue to write and figure this out one day at a time.  Thanks for the link too.  I will look at it.  As for all of the social media, it is so overwhelming.  I could spend all day just blogging, and responding in forums.  Does this keep growing or is there a happy medium.  Every time I join one, I am introduced to another.  It truly is a web.

Thank you again, I will keep in touch here,

Angela

Hello Kathy,  I thought I had responded to your comment, but I do not see it here.  Maybe I have so many new friends I am getting confused.  Social communities are new to me.

Good Mourning Sunshine is a non-fiction spiritual inspirational work.  It is my true story.  I wrote it because so many people requested that I put my story in book form to share it.  I was told to not share it would be robbing others.  I think my website gives a pretty good discription.  I also have an author page on Amazon, I have the Look Inside on the Kindle version on Amazon. I am on Twitter and FB.  I became a memeber of The Women's Literary Cafe and Goodread.  No youtube video yet.  I hope to soon.

Thank you again for the connection and God Bless.
