I am starting to write the second part of my trilogy and am already feeling as if it is repetitive. I was told I must assume the reader hasn't read the first book so I constantly have to update it.…Continue

Hi Guys,
I never realised how much you need to know these days as far as technology goes. don't get me wrong i know how to use the internet and a laptop, but all this blogging and forums has me so confused. I feel a bit silly as I am twenty eight and suppose to be up on all this technology but there is so many different type of things. thought i was great creating my own website and then discovered this was not enough. So opened a Twitter account (not exactly sure how the…

It was lovely of you to contact me with your friend-request. Thank you so much.
- I was intrigued by your website - the blue and white star-field graphic at the top is beautiful and very eye-catching. For me it conveys a sense of a magical spell being conjured - so I can easily see why you would choose it as it clearly has a connection to the theme of your book. As an artist, as well as an author, I have one suggestion: The label directly below the star-field, which shows your name in _black_ lettering against the intense blue background I found to be a little harsh on the eyes and rather un-readable - so much so I was wondering if my computer or Internet Browser was somehow mis-representing the color-scheme for that particular portion of your website? If that is the way it was designed, you might want to consider keeping the blue background, but going with a white or silver-ish lettering, instead of the black. I hope it's all right to give you that kind of feedback. :)
It's very exciting to see that you're in the process of getting published. Which publishing house are you going with - one in Ireland or elsewhere? I'm getting very close to finishing the first book in my Time-travel series, "Twinned Souls" and a good portion of it happens to place in Medieval Ireland, with a "daring escape" through the ancient landscape of the then 'kingdom' of Meath. :)
- I will be happy and interested to follow your authoring successes. Please be sure to keep us updated here on Authors.com.
Have a lovely day,
Cymbric
Aoife Marie Sheridan said… Hi Cymbric,
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I took your advice and changed the writing to white as you suggested, you where indeed correct about it been harsh on the eyes. I really appreciate you pointing this out to me and if there is ever anything else don't hesitate to say.
Yes my publisher is based in Dublin in Ireland the name of the company is Shackleton publishing.
I live in Co.Meath that is crazy that you are writing about it. LOL I will definitely buy your book when it is out, considering it is based on my hometown. if you have a facebook page or website let me know and I will like you and leave a post.
Just want to thank you once again for your kind words. They mean alot. I truly wish you the best in finding representation for "Twinned Souls" really good name.
Love Aoife Marie
