Hi Kay, You welcomed me some time ago when I first joined Authors. At the time I did not really 'get' what having friends here is about. Now I'm really looking forward to it. thank you for the welcome.
Thank you also for the welcome. My first novel "Dying Innocence" is currently in print and is expected to hit bookstores in April of this year. It is a great new legal thriller. Im very happy about the finished product. I write under the penname David Alex Fleming. Again, thanks for the welcome.
Thank you :) i've been working on this novel for a long time, because i keep getting stuck on certain aspects of the medieval era, so i finally just typed in www.authors.com to google hoping to find such a website and obviously i did :)
Hello Kay. Thanks for your friendly reply. I am finding this publishing business a tough nut to crack. Self-publishing a book can be a harrowing experience in a lot of ways. It is a real learning experience for me. This seems to be a terrible time to be publishing a book under any circumstances with the economy in the tank, bookstores closing by the day, literacy declining in the U.S., and ebooks replacing real, tanbible books. I don't like the scene. Have you previously published? Any tidbit of info to pass along?
My life has been on a fast track lately with writing for a newpaper, trying to finish a couple of books partially completed and having a small writing club as well. I hope to wind down a bit and play a better part in this writing...
My name is Ernie Lijoi Sr. of Brooklyn, N.Y. and I am a story teller. I began writing at age 65, after retirements from deep cover investigations. Now at 67 I have three books published. They are: “Street Business” available now, “Shoveling the Tide” and “Chasing Snow”, which will be available. I have four others waiting for review and I am working on a movie project based on my writing. The script is completed and we are doing the business plan. We have several known actors attached at this point. If you have some free time, you can learn more about me at my site.
Hi Kay! Thanks for friending me! I'm sorry I haven't been very active here yet (not like me as I love meeting other writers) but I'm busy with a series I just sold to Etopia Press--they bought book one (YA novel Fresco about a teen boy with an ordinary life who suffers a psychic breakout and is purposely hooked on a drug then turned out onto the street by the corporation that created him) and want the sequels so I'm writing my heart (and Fresco's life) out.
You asked what I write--mainly YA paranormal/thrillers (I love the spooky side of paranormal rather than vamps and weres) but I also have a love for witches. I also write middle grade (The Ghost Boy of MacKenzie House comes out in 2012 from Acorn Press) and I dabble in adult fantasy but I prefer writing for teens.
Hi Kay! Thanks for the comment and warm welcome. I'm enjoying authors.com. I plan to add more info to my page as soon as time permits. I've been busy with revisions the last couple of weeks. There just aren't enough hours in the day, lol. Thanks again.
How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while so I thought I would check in to see how you are doing and what you have been up to. I hope all is well and good with you and your family. my 2 books are in the hands of my publisher now (My first book will be re-published, and then my second book will be published right along with it, I am so excited to get my second book out. I have finished my third book which my editor has now, and I am working on my last 3 series now.
I would love to hear from you when you have some time
Thanks from Mary /// looking forward to being a member. I'm hoping to write one book ... all about the dogs in my life and my journey to becoming a dog trainer as a senior.
Thank you, I have already written one book of poetry, Love, Grief, Hope. Writing is very therapeutic for me, helped me to get over the death of my husband and my mother. Being invited by another author is very encouraging...
the books I have are a series. book one is titled Storms, Two: The Rnacher, and three: Where My Heart Lies. no photo of that one yet, Lord willing very soon.
The Alchemist is great of course but 'By the River Pieda I Sat Down and Cried," is my favorite. I get excited when he has a new one coming out--last couple were a little disappointing.
Respected Ms. Elizabeth, First of all my apologies for replying you so late. I would like to mail you some of my poems which has been published by newspapers. I have also received a positive review from the University of Oxford. I am 13-year old boy and I reside at Mumbai, India. My e-mail id is trishitbanerjee2006@yahoo.co.in
I have created an online monthly e-magazine titled "Young Chronicle". May'11 was the inaugural launch

Kay Elizabeth, thanks for the welcome, and the friend invitation (which I just accepted). Best wishes with your writing!
Thanks for your interest in seeing some of my writing! I might post a story excerpt sometime; but I'm not really online very much (and when I am, I'm more apt to be on www.goodreads.com than here). I'm pretty new to this site!
Thanks! I'm glad to have found this website and looking forward to posting some of my poetry. Threw numerous hours of searching I found the site. I am really looking forward to new advice and meeting good people who would be glad to help me. If you have any advice I'm a young aspiring poet that will absorb anything that may be helpful. Thank you hope to hear from you soon.
I am happy to meet you great minds! pls put me through on this site and I can make the maximum use of it for Christians poems and competitions. Many Thanks.
Many thanks for the welcome! I was actually searching for ways to reach out and help the sales of my novels and this came up. I signed up immediately after seeing that there was so much going on that would not only help with sales but would help with my writing and the process of it all together.
Hi, thanks for the welcome. My first book is a young adult fiction. Its called the Pact. Yeah, I found out after it was published that there is another one out there, but to behonest it couldn't be called anything else anyway. https://www.createspace.com/3560279 I liked the characters so much that I wrote 6 more in the series (we'll young adults grow up, don't they) and in the process of a seventh. I've writen another young adult fixtion and am half way through a police drama. Since there is nothing but commercials on TV I find I've been writing to kill some time. I came across authors.com when i was looking for a way to advertise my work. I signe up in hopes of finding tips on how to get it out there. Also I'm basically a shy person and find it hard to talk to other and even try and explain my book to others. Hopefully this site can help me get over that also.
Perhaps now that April 27 has long gone, we will have time to get back with the groups...it is have been a struggle here as of late...of course another book or two has been published and if you would like to check them out they are all on Amazon.com under my name Thomas J Ault, or you can find me on Createspace.com as well.....then there is the http://thomasault.webs.com....Hope to have you on board on that site too.
