Submissions

Wordrunner eChapbooks publishes quarterly online collections of fiction, poetry or memoir (personal narrative), each featuring one or two authors, and the occasional anthology. Guidelines are different for each collection, so please visit again.

FALL 2012 E-CHAPBOOK ANTHOLOGY
Poetry, fiction and memoir by several authors
 will be considered for the fall 2012 e-chapbook anthology, to be published around September 21.

THEME = FOUND
We want to read about the aftermath of some eureka moment: anything found, discovered, uncovered, invented or realized — and its impact, be it serious or humorous or both. The "thing" need not be as tangible as a cache of gold or a trunk in the attic; it could be a personal revelation or a dark family secret. Surprise us.

Submissions will be accepted beginning July 1, 2012. Last day to submit is August 26, 2012.

Submit up to three poems or a short story, novel or memoir excerpt (to 5,000 words).

General guidelines:

Submissions to the anthology issue should be previously unpublished, either online or in print (excluding self-published pieces).

Submit ONE FILE (Word doc, RTF, ODT or WordPerfect). (Please do not send docx files, thank you!)

Please do NOT include identifying information anywhere in the manuscript, as the reading will be blind.

Click here to submit to Wordrunner eChapbooks via Submittable (formerly Submishmash).

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but only one submission per author. Please notify Wordrunner eChapbooks if your work is accepted elsewhere. We prefer that you withdraw the submission from your Submittable account. Alternately, you may write directly toeditor@echapbook.com.

There is no fee for open submissions.

Payment: $10-$25

All rights revert to authors.

Note: By submitting to Wordrunner eChapbooks, you are also signing up for the quarterly emailed announcement of newly published echapbooks. We will never give out your e-mail to anyone else. You can always opt out of the mailing.
