Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

Dear all,

since we talked about setting up a chapter discussion within the fiction group, i thought it would make more sense to give it its own thread.

and to make it more efficient, we could follow an easy submission form.

Name of author

name of work

publisher

website or link where one can purchase/download the entire work

excerpt of the book (prologue or first chapter) as a link

As for comments, they are obviously welcome and expected, but let's keep it to constructive criticism as direct messages to the author so as not to crowd this thread and make it hard to navigate. what do you think?

Ok, let me give it a go:

Thanks Amy! Yes I did wrestle with my grammar and sentence structure but there we go, I have committed it to paper. I will appreciate your feedback if you do ever read the book.

Good prologue, makes me curious as to what happens with these mysterious Mason brothers.  A few sentences I would have worded differently, for example: Then I met Jack Mason and his brother Danny, and all of my carefully built defenses came crashing down around me. I might have said: Then I met brother's Jack and Danny Mason and all of my carefully built defenses came crashing down around me. But that's just me so please don't take this critism to heart :0) Otherwise great job, Paranormal Romances are a favorite of mine so I'll have to look into this one and see what happens next.

Amy - Did you by chance post a review of it after you read it?  I forgot to ask you if you did.

Hope you are doing well and I am so glad you enjoyed it!

What an awesome review!!! Thank you Amy!

Just an FYI: the new Book Excerpts Group is now up and running if anyone wants to add a discussion there and share an excerpt of their book. Remember you need to join it before you can add a discussion or reply to one.

Delphine, I read the prologue and felt it was all over the place. It was hard to follow. I got lost. Perhaps you could discribe more about each character. And give them some sort of names, if not by something they look like. I found the story intriguing but it was difficult to follow.

You can check out the "Look Inside" feature of my latest book, The Wolfen Strain, on Amazon Kindle. The chapter entails the first signs about the birth of a monster that will follow 15 years later. Remember Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park? Well, it's right up that alley.
