Hi Trudy! I can't see why your photo wouldn't because it's the right format and not too large. Are you uploading it from your computer or are you trying to upload it from a link? If you're uploading from a link that won't work. If not, it could just have been a glitch. You're in the Manage My Photo section of your page, yes?

Give it another try please and if it still doesn't work you can Report an Issue to the admin and they can look into it for you further.

When you say you're having trouble with typing, what do you mean please?
Thanks: I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with uploading my photo. Before my photo could appear, I should save it first. (Something I was not doing). By editing some other data, I saved it and up popped my picture. lol.
In typing I'm not too sure what is wrong except some letters are skipping. It could be my keyboard acting up. But I don't seem to have this trouble with other sites.

Thanks so much for taking time to help me. TD
Nice to meet you Trudy. :) That's a strange occurrence indeed. I've made several comments and posts here and have never experienced that. Has it got any better?

I was puzzled by that and looked for an answer. See if any of these help you. For the original poster in the first link, it was Internet Explorer 8 that was the problem. Are you using that browser by any chance?

Here's some more from a more technical forum:

Hope you find something in amongst those that helps. :) I just Googled "letters being skipped when I type" to find that first one and added IE8 to my query to get the second. If they're no use, you could see if anything else on that search is.

ETA The more I read, the more suspicious I am of IE8. Here's yet another thread from microsoft themselves that mentions the keyboard lagging as well.

If you follow any instructions in any of these threads, you do so at your own risk.

Hi Kay: Thanks for befriending me. It's good to talk with you. You may have just hit the spot on my keys skipping. I did download IE8 on my computer. I also checked out "sticky keys" and thought that solved the problem, but it didn't. It's taking forever for me to type this to you because of my keys sticking.

I will try to see if IE8 is the cause. Funny, but I'm only having the problem on this site.
From what I read in that second link above that Kay posted, it is possible for it to only affect some sites and not others.

A bit more info might help. Is this happening on all sites, or just a few? I've seen this happen on phpBB forums, and other forums using a caret tracking javascript routine that doesn't work well with IE8. I've even had it on my phpBB based site. The fix for phpBB is pretty simple, if rather crude - add a meta tag to switch IE8 in to IE7 compatibility mode. If the website owner hasn't made this change, then you need to click the button to put IE8 into compatibility mode for the site that's doing this.

The Compatibility view he's talking about is in Tools at the top of your IE8 browser. What that does is adjust how the site displays so you see it as you would if you were still using IE7. You can add particular sites to the Compatibility View Settings.

If that doesn't help Trudy, you could download Firefox and test the site using that. That would tell you for sure if it's the browser. Your computer can have both systems on it just fine as long as you have enough space. I do on mine for that very reason. Some sites can display perfectly in one browser type and not in the other.
