Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

I'm starting a book, and I'm not sure I'm going to publish it, I just want it to be able to publish. What I'm trying to say is that have the first chapter of something I started and I need help with it and I'm not sure if I should post it.

Well, the first time I was here, I was nervous about publishing things on here. I wasn't sure if I could trust everyone on this site, but I learned that everyone on this site is helpful and trustworthy. If you don't believe me, that's O.K. Everyone learns to trust people at their own pace. It took me a while to trust people, but now that I do, when I finish my first story, this will be the first site I trust for feedback. Even thought I haven't read it, something tells me your story will be great. Even without help!
Thanks! The people here do seem like trustworthy people. And I just might put up the first chapter of my book.

Julie Ann, I'm sure you'd get helpful feedback if you did. It's hard to get that if you don't share it. It's up to you of course. No one will steal your book. They're all too busy writing their own. :) To get the most out of being part of an authors' community, we all need to trust each other. Hope to see you in the chat tonight!
